Terms of Service & Agent Agreement

Welcome to Queen Bee Travel Buds! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at qbtravelbuds.com, the Agent Portal (“Back Office”), The Honey Comb shop, and all related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
Queen Bee Travel Buds is a host travel agency founded by Yahari Kelly. We provide independent travel agents with tools, training, community, and supplier access to run their own travel businesses under our host umbrella.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts in your jurisdiction to use the Platform. By signing up, you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. Agent Membership
Membership fee: $60 per month (first month discounted to $30 for new agents).
Free trial: New agents receive a 30-day free trial before billing begins.
What you get: Access to the Back Office, booking tools, Trip Planner, CRM, The Bee Hive community, Bee Assistant, email templates, supplier directory, Fam Trip listings, The Honey Comb shop discounts, and ongoing training & support.
4. Commission Structure
Split: 80% of commissions go to you (the agent), 20% goes to Queen Bee Travel Buds.
When you get paid: Suppliers typically pay commissions 30–90 days after your client’s travel is complete. Once we receive the commission, your 80% share is paid out promptly.
Payment methods: Zelle, ACH bank transfer, PayPal, or check — your choice.
Tracking: All commission payouts are tracked in your Back Office under “My Commission.”
5. Your Responsibilities as an Agent
- Provide accurate, honest information to clients and suppliers.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and supplier policies.
- Keep your login credentials confidential — do not share your account.
- Maintain professional conduct with clients, fellow agents, and within The Bee Hive community.
- Complete any required training or certifications as directed.
- Report any errors, disputes, or client complaints to Queen Bee Travel Buds promptly.
6. Billing & Cancellation
Membership fees are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us. Upon cancellation:
- Your access to the Back Office will continue through the end of your current billing period.
- Any commissions already earned but not yet paid will still be paid to you on the normal schedule.
- There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
- Membership fees are non-refundable for the current billing period once charged.
7. The Honey Comb Shop
Our online shop offers travel accessories and gear. Some products are sold directly by Queen Bee Travel Buds; others are affiliate links (currently Amazon). Prices, availability, and shipping are subject to change. For directly-sold products, our standard return/exchange policy applies — contact us within 14 days of delivery for assistance.
8. Community Guidelines (The Bee Hive)
The Bee Hive is our agent community space. We expect a supportive, respectful environment. The following are not permitted:
- Harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind.
- Spam, excessive self-promotion, or solicitation of agents for other host agencies.
- Sharing confidential client information.
- Posting misleading or false content.
Violations may result in post removal, temporary suspension, or termination of your membership at our discretion.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including the Queen Bee Travel Buds name, logo, branding, website design, training materials, and The Honey Comb name — is owned by Queen Bee Travel Buds. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our materials without written permission.
We may provide you with branded marketing templates for your use as an agent. You may use those solely for promoting your travel services under our host umbrella.
10. Limitation of Liability
Queen Bee Travel Buds acts as a host agency and booking facilitator. We do not directly operate airlines, hotels, cruise lines, or tour companies. We are not liable for service failures, cancellations, delays, or other issues caused by third-party travel suppliers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the membership fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Independent Contractor Status
As an agent, you are an independent contractor, not an employee of Queen Bee Travel Buds. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and business expenses. We do not provide health insurance, retirement benefits, or workers’ compensation.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or unethical behavior, or fail to pay membership fees after reasonable notice. You may also terminate your account at any time as described in Section 6.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and notify active agents via email or the Back Office. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dorchester County, South Carolina.
